Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Boike
Dr. Brad Boike is a native of Michigan and grew up in the Flint area. Dr. Boike earned his doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois in 2017.
Following graduation, Dr. Boike was happy to move back home to Michigan to start his career. He worked in both emergency medicine and general practice for over 5 years before taking over ownership of Great Oaks Veterinary Clinic.
Dr. Boike’s special interests in veterinary medicine include preventative care, soft tissue surgery and canine sports medicine and rehabilitation.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Boike enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog Briggs. He likes traveling, hiking and cheering for his favorite Michigan sports teams.

Dr. Womersley
Dr. Womersley grew up in West Michigan and then graduated from Michigan State University with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. Dr. Womersley has worked in clinics all over Michigan. She has experience working with all types of animals including exotics. In 2021 she was voted Best Veterinarian for the Best of Grand Rapids Grandtastic Award.
Dr. Womersley has a husband, 2 kids, 2 dogs (Mulligan and Divot), 1 tripod cat (D.C.) and 2 goldfish (Scarlett and Bacho). In her spare time she enjoys hiking, tap dancing and watching crime shows.
Dr. Womersley is Fear Free Certified and uses her expertise to treat pets in the comfort of their own home. She loves getting to know her clients and their furry family members while keeping veterinary care as stress free as possible for everyone.

Practice Manager - Vet Tech
Tessa
Tessa grew up in rural South Haven, MI, and earned a B.S. in Biology and Environmental Science at Western Michigan University. What started as a temporary position as an E.R. vet tech, turned into a passion for veterinary medicine, where she spent over 8 years. Tessa has two pets: a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier named Wally and a Domestic Shorthair named Benny. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and camping with Wally, kayaking, weightlifting, reading, antiquing, and watching movies.
Tessa enjoys the opportunity to work closely with pets and their owners in the comfort of their homes. She finds building relationships with Vetr's members and helping them provide the best care for their pets incredibly rewarding.
